Has IBS Distorted Your Way of Life?
If you have IRRITABLE BOWEL SYNDROME, or IBS, you know the symptoms...Abdominal Pain, Bloating, Constipation...and you know they're real. If you have experienced constipation-predominant IBS during the past year, we may have an option for you. Our physicians are studying an investigational medication to see if it relieves the symptoms of IBS. If you qualify, you will receive all study-related care, including physical examinations, laboratory services, and study medications. Qualifying participants will be compensated for their time and travel.
Summary: High Blood Pressure
High Blood Pressure...Not Knowing Your Risks Can Hurt You
High Blood Pressure does not cause pain or discomfort, however, it can cause signficant complications including heart attack, kidney failure and stroke.
Those at risk for high blood pressure include:
- African American and Hispanic populations
- Men over the age of 55 or post-menopausal women
- People with high cholesterol or diabetes
- People who smoke or are overweight
We are conducting a research study evaluation of the effectiveness of an investigational medication in combination with an approved medication to treat high blood pressure.
To qualify, participants must be at least 18 years of age and have known or suspected high blood pressure. All study related care and study medication will be provided. Participants will be compensated for their time and travel.
